Hi, I’m Tyler Smith — creator of Something in the Wild. I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors, whether it’s camping, fishing, hunting, or just slowing down to enjoy the fresh air. What began as a simple idea has grown into a community of like-minded individuals who share the same passion for outdoor adventure.
Through videos, stories, and gear, my goal is to inspire others to step outside, keep life simple, and make lasting memories in the wild.

Sammi has been Tyler's right-hand-gal since the beginning of this crazy journey! Whether she is behind the camera or in the shot (rarely), you can count on her to always be supportive of whatever project is going on. With a racing creative mind, Sammi continues to push out new and exciting ideas day after day!

Mr. Bean
Mr. Bean decided to join our team full time after his internship with Something in the Wild in 2024. His enthusiasm and energy sets him apart from the rest, which makes him a great fit for our pheasant hunting department. He often says that he is truly a bird dog at heart and you can definitely tell when he is out working in the field!

Koa Smith
Koa has been with us for a little over four years and is dedicated to providing the best retrieval services possible. Whether it is a ball, a shoe, or a bird - Koa will bring it back to you with no questions asked. Many people in the community feel as though they've known Koa for years due to his loyal and genuine qualities.
